Radical Muslims have made many pronouncements that natural disasters in America, such as Hurricane Katrina, are God’s punishment for our “sins.” But they are silent about such things as the tsunami in Indonesia and earthquakes in Iran and Pakistan, which killed tens of thousands of Muslims. Do you think they recognize the illogic of their viewpoint?

It is 10 times stronger than a 7.5 earthquake. There have been only about 16 or so recorded earthquakes of that magnitude or more.
The Chile 1960 May 22 ‘quake was magnitude 9.5, and killed over 1600 people.
The China (Shensi) 1556 Jan 01 ‘quake was magnitude about 8, and killed over 830,000 people.
This was Britain’s largest earthquake in nearly a quarter of a century. The last earthquake of this size was in the mid 80’s…i think 1984. This quake was around magnitude 5.2. Various tremors have occur in Great Britain with a magnitude rating of around 2 as recent as last year. Hope this helps.
