I’m just wondering as to why the magnitudes to these earthquakes were so high causing so much devastation to Samoa not to mention Indonesia. Does extracting gas & oil from the earth, and also the nuclear testing that took place there contribute to these disasters in these particular areas? And how can we put a stop to tests, and reduce the impact that it’s having on the earth plates?
Actually, a Cat 5 could hit New York at any point of the hurricane season. It would just rely on the exact set of “right” circumstances- that there was a blocking system on the East coast, steering it towards NY, and that the hurricane stayed in the Gulf Stream as its main feeder, giving warmer water from the Gulf of Mexico.
Later in summer would be more likely, as well, as the ocean temperature would be higher.
I have noticed that in the last 2 years there is more seismic activity off of the Oregon Coast. It’s most specific in one spot.
Yesterday there was an article that said there have been harmonic tremors lately that are identical to the ones right before Mt. St. Helens erupted back in 1980.
Also, when you add in the increased earthquake activity near Yellowstone, near Maupin, Oregon (the site of the inactive Newberry Crater) and generally all around the region inbetween Yellowstone and the Oregon Coast events, are you worried about what is going on?

An earthquakes location is called an epicenter, and an atomic bomb’s location is a _____”something” center.
I really want to move there, but I’m afraid because I keep hearing about all these earthquakes, mudslides, & fires breaking out.
Also, a body wave that can penetrate the earth’s core, the place on the surface directly above the earthquake’s focus, the place on the surface directly above the ground where the earthquake originates.
Regardless to crime, is there a place with no earthquakes, no tornadoes, no hurricanes, no tsunami threats, no floods, no land slides, etc? Just curious.
I know everyone has there own views and beliefs (even though some certain views are wrong in my opinion.) but i need to say this here.
Religious people are always saying that God is great, all-loving, all-forgiving and so forth, but if that’s true, why would he allow something like this happen to Haiti?
I mean its the most poorest country in the northern hemisphere, people had to either dig through garbage to find stuff to sell for money to buy food and go to school, or turn to crime. The place was in a horrible state already, only the earthquake has made it ten times worse.
But what gets to me the most is that people are saying that you should pray for the Haitians and that God will help them then in time!
If God is real, he basically just sat back and watch what was happening to this people and did nothing, so how can you expect him to help now?
The help that is going on now is the work of humanitarian aid, not God. God didn’t send some bloody angel to tell these peolpe what to do, these people they came at their own accord to help the people of Haiti….and God is doing nothing. These people are the real true gods.
